Summary

• Add a v0.2 packaging/install dry-run report.
• Record that current main builds wheel and sdist, installs from clean venvs, passes pip check, and runs console/module smoke tests.
• Keep final v0.2.0 artifacts explicitly pending until version metadata, changelog, release notes, and final release SHA are cut.

Scope

• Adds docs/V0.2-PACKAGING-DRY-RUN.md only.
• No code, tests, fixtures, CI, pyproject, version bump, tag, release, artifacts, dependencies, PyPI, or output behavior changes.

Verification

• 94 tests passed locally through ./scripts/check.sh.
• Wheel and sdist dry-run built outside the repo.
• Wheel and sdist installed in clean virtual environments.
• pip check passed for both installs.
• Console script and python -m smoke tests passed.
• Temporary build directory was removed.
• Repository stayed clean after the dry-run.
• v0.1.0 tag/release verified intact before push.
